Frequently asked questions

I am a complete beginner. Can I do Reformer Pilates?

Yes! It is never too late to start pilates.

Spring Reform’s small class sizes and patient, kind instructors gives you the time and attention to feel comfortable as a beginner.

Start your Pilates journey by purchasing an Introductory Pack. This will give you 5 classes (to be used within 4 weeks) to get a feel for the exercise and comfortable in the class.

Following your introductory trial, you can either buy class packs or sign up to a membership (see Packages & Memberships) to continue your Pilates journey.

All levels of Reformer Pilates experience are welcome - our experienced and knowledgable instructors can modify the exercises to suit you. That’s the beauty of Spring Reform, you won’t get lost in the crowd.

What do I need to bring?

All you need is a pair of grip socks. Don’t worry if you don’t have any, you can purchase some beautiful socks at Spring Reform. A water bottle is recommended (we do work hard!) and your active wear for ease of movement.

How do I book a class?

Click on the Book A Reformer Class button on the homepage. This will take you to our online booking system to secure your spot. If the class is full, you can waitlist, and you will be notified if a spot becomes available.

What if I need to cancel a class booking?

You can cancel your booking online via the website or app. Due to Spring Reform’s limited reformer capacity, bookings must be cancelled prior to 8 hours before the class (and your class credit is returned to your account).

Bookings cancelled inside of 8 hours are considered a late cancel and you will lose that class credit.

This is to allow for sufficient class access for all members, and to give those on the waitlist time to prepare for their upcoming class.

Can I suspend my membership?

Yes, you can suspend your membership for up to 8 weeks per calendar year. Minimum suspensions start from 2 weeks and we require 7 days notice for processing. Please email info@springreform.com.au to request a membership suspension.

Can I upgrade/downgrade my membership?

Yes, simply call or email to discuss your needs. We ask for a few days notice to change your membership before your next payment is due.

What if I need to cancel my membership?

In the unfortunate event you need to end your membership, you can do so with 7 days written notice via email. If possible, we recommend suspending your membership prior to cancelling if you’re not 100% sure.

Please note, our memberships are a minimum 3 month contract, billed fortnightly. If you do not wish to continue your membership after the first 3 months, please email at least 7 days prior to cancellation.

How can I do Pilates if I am a FIFO worker?

Our class packs are a great way to try pilates and continue pilates for fly-in-fly-out workers. Make the most of your packs when you are at home. No cost of course while you are away. FIFO workers please contact us if you would like to create a custom class pack or membership, I am happy to talk to you and create something that works for you.

Do you help people living with cancer?

Spring Reform are one of few Pilates and Physio studios experienced in developing personalised exercise programs for individuals during and after cancer treatment. As a small local business, we care and listen - please contact us and we will discuss your holistic needs.

Exercise is an important part of cancer management as it can ease the severity of adverse side effects from treatment and improve quality of life. The sooner you start an exercise program, the greater the potential benefit.

Cancer Council WA and the Cancer Council’s Exercise for People Living with Cancer booklet provide further information about the benefits exercise may have during and after cancer treatments.
